Inflation has been all we get to talk about in our recent sessions. And we’ll get to that… But there’s an aspect of the stock market that we need to address. We sat down with WealthPress Senior Strategist Roger Scott to discuss which tech stocks to target in 2021.
We’ve been saying since last year that the market is due for a pullback. When certain stocks get overstretched, the market will correct at some point.
Right now, that sector is the big-name tech stocks known as the FAANG stocks. These stocks soared last year, completely avoiding the major COVID-19 drop-off that devastated airline and cruise line stocks.
But in the inflationary period we’re seeing right now, with prices of everything soaring, the big tech stocks seem to be selling off.
So why are we talking about it? Because there are some good tech stocks to target in 2021… you just have to know what to look for.
Knowing Which Tech Stocks To Target in 2021
Good tech stocks all have two things in common: They are forward thinking, and there’s more than one way for them to win.
Technology is a sector in which companies have to stay ahead to succeed. The world we live in advances so quickly. If a company gets complacent in what it does, then it just clears the way for the competition.
Take Apple Inc. (Nasdaq: AAPL), for example. Its stock is losing ground, and it’s due to complacency. The company was founded on the idea of innovation, of changing the way we do things. Yet Apple hasn’t released a truly new or groundbreaking product in years. It’s starting to impact what people think about the company.
A company also has to set itself up for success in many different areas. Back in December, we talked about the battle between streaming companies — specifically Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) and Netflix Inc. (Nasdaq: NFLX). To this day, we still have to give the edge to Disney because the company is not solely reliant on streaming.
If a stock has both traits, it’s worth a look. Check out our video below as we give away some quality tech stocks to target in 2021, including a free trade from our Burn Notice service.

P.S. I just pulled back the curtain on a new trading method that only requires you to participate in the market right before it closes.
You see, from the time the market opens until about 3 p.m. EST, Wall Street has the upper hand. But once 3 p.m. rolls around, the big funds on Wall Street start bleeding cash… which sends certain stocks crashing lower.
Take advantage of these cash bleeds during Wall Street’s weakest hour, and you can make huge returns the next morning when the market opens up again.
